Dental Hygienist
What is a dental hygienist?

Dental hygienists are specially trained to work as part of the dental team, to give care to patients.

They play an important part in dental health care and are mainly concerned with preventive dental health and treating gum disease – showing you correct home care and helping to keep your teeth and gums healthy. It may be advisable to see the Hygienist 1-2 times a year for maintenance or 3-4 times per year if you have active gum disease.

Fillings
We provide all types of filling material, i.e. amalgam, gold, composite, glass ionomer and porcelain.

We will assess the cavity and decide on the best option of a long lasting filling material.

Crowns
Crowns can be made from precious or non-precious metal or no metal at all, porcelain or Zirconia.

They cover the complete tooth structure for protection or cosmetic purposes.

Bridges
A bridge can replace a missing tooth or teeth that you have.
Veneers
Veneers are a thin porcelain cover that sits on the outer surface of your front teeth.

They are a cosmetic treatment to cover stained, discoloured, heavily filled or misshapen teeth.

Tooth Whitening
We do this 2 ways here at Church Street.

We can either do it in the dental chair which takes about 1 hour and we also provide whitening trays to take home so you can top up the whitening if you feel the need.

The other way is to just provide whitening trays and the whitening solution for you to use at home. Please contact us to find out more or see the link to Zoom whitening on the home page.

Orthodontics
Here is an example of one of our fixed orthodontic cases. The patient wore the braces for 5 months.

Invisalign
Here are some examples of what can be achieved with Invisalign.

Our all inclusive price of £3250 includes one set of retainers and free tooth whitening.
