Welcome
Simon & Jenny Albiston welcome you to Church Street Dental Centre in Wincanton, Somerset. Simon & Jenny both originate from the North West and both graduated from University of Liverpool Dental School.
The practice has been family owned for over 50 years and we are proud to have the longest serving Dentist in town.
We are pleased to serve Wincanton, Somerset and surrounding towns and villages and are humbled by our long standing patient base whom travel from all areas of the globe to see us.
Simon & Jenny are Educational Supervisors which means we support a newly qualified Foundation Dentist in their first year and offer teaching and learning opportunities for them.
Our whole team look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve the smile of your dreams.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Here at Church Street Dental Centre we provide more than just routine dentistry. We do enjoy our preventative dentistry and helping you improve your oral hygiene but we can offer so much more than that. Our team are highly qualified and experienced to be able to provide you with more. We are delighted to be able to offer tooth whitening, dental implants, conventional orthodontics, Hygienist service, facial aesthetics including Botox, dermal fillers, Polynucleotides, Profhilo, Hydrafacial etc.
Our 4 surgeries are modern, up-to-date and air conditioned in a Grade 2* listed building with bags of character.
NOT FOR PROFIT
Jenny, Simon and the team use their profession to benefit many people who may not be able to make it to the practice. For example, Jenny is involved in Community Outreach projects with Foundation Dentists in Devon. Jenny leads on the project planning for the FDs and has worked with many charitable groups such as: Well Connected, Dentaid, refugee and asylum seeker charities, multiple schools and nurseries, Girl guiding and Scouting units, homeless and vulnerably housed groups etc.
Jenny, Simon, the team and their families often donate goods for the annual shoe box appeals and also help where we can when we asked to help donate toothpastes and brushes for a wide range of causes; local and international.
Jenny is the South West Healthy Living Ambassador for Girlguiding and she visits units all over the South West delivering talks and giving out toothbrushes and toothpastes to the girls and their leaders. To find out more search:

Recently, we welcomed pupils from our local primary school into the practice to show them around and answer any questions they have about teeth, the development of teeth, how to look after them and all about careers in dentistry. Jenny & Simon also spent the day at the local careers fayre talking about the career opportunities within dentistry and couldn’t resist getting a quick oral health message in there too. Hundreds of stickers were given out and not to mention toothpaste samples!
Jenny and Simon via Church Street Dental Centre have regularly donated prizes for local fundraising events so if you would like us to consider donating a prize please contact us.
